A big thank you to Samuel for all the information you provide! For the detailed advice and assistance and the great effort you make with all your posts, videos in Knochenstark etc.. Everything is so very informative and helpful and has helped me so much over the last 1 1/2 years! Thanks to all the info in the group I was able to learn so much and had decided not to take bisphosphonates but to optimize my diet, also influence with Nem's and sports. And yesterday I had the 2nd DXA measurement. The doctor said: "The values have improved drastically in the 1 1/2 years, you also take the alendronic acid". After I denied this and told him what I had done, he just looked strange and said that apart from Vit. D and calcium, everything else (magnesium, Vit. K2, zinc etc.) was somewhat questionable... I could only answer that the result would speak for itself! I slipped from osteoporosis into osteopenia! Values on average between 3.1 and 2.2 ! (before 3,9 and 2,6). He couldn't contradict me there. In any case, I would now no longer need treatment! However, I must also mention that I had started a hormone replacement therapy in parallel, which I now also, after a conversation next week with my gynecologist, want to discontinue! So thank you for letting me learn so much here! I will of course continue to inform me here and would like to further optimize my diet! The new videos in Knochenstark are now on my list, I will work through them next week in peace "and would also like to stay in touch with you Samuel Kochenburger further.
