We had a problem with the implementation of a new function. Section8 gave us great advice here. Thomas had a suggestion here how we can separate the API from the rest of the system. This suggestion alone reduced our attack surface by 90%!!!

With this solution we have achieved a very stable performance and a high level of security for our web server. In fact, it was a simple solution to implement, where we could also save a new database and other useless services.

We had a problem with implementing a new feature. Section 8 had some ideas for us to implement it and so separate the public facing API from the rest of our internal systems. With this solution we achieved very stable performance and a high security level for our webserver. In fact it was an easy to do solution where we also could spare a new database and service for that.

Especially with web servers you have to be careful, because they are particularly exposed. I'm glad that you liked the proposed solution so much. I don't know if it's exactly 90%, but this way you are definitely more secure AND performant :)
