This effort includes both market-rate and low-income housing as well as commercial spaces, aimed at fostering self-sufficiency among residents. With 250 staff members, the agency has evolved significantly since its inception in 1965, from primarily community outreach efforts to becoming a cornerstone of support for the Greater Hampden County area. Valley Opp continues to strive towards its mission of helping individuals achieve a higher quality of life through various educational and resource-based initiatives.
