I went to work with David when I had problems with my foot (platar fascia). At that point, I had already tried everything possible: Physiotherapy, stretching exercises, orthopaedic insoles, injections from the orthopaedist & Co.
My problem was simply that everyone told me something different. On the internet, at the pain therapist or at the physio, I was given exercises with little context. At the orthopaedist, I was given insoles as an "all-purpose solution"
But what about the long term? Will I damage my feet in the long term with the insoles? Which exercises really help and why?
Basically, I had no more idea than before and was simply confused to the maximum. I also had a few accompanying symptoms: tension in my lower back and neck and recurring headaches.
David was the first person I spoke to who really took time for me. During the very first appointment, he took a close look at my body, my movement sequences and mobilization. He was able to tell me directly where my musculoskeletal system was restricted, why I was experiencing pain in my lower back and neck and how tense my structures were.
In summary, David was the first person (after thousands of euros that I had already invested) to take the time to get a holistic picture before formulating an assumption about my problem.
Subsequently, I was finally able to fully understand why my lower foot was causing problems and how the individual structures (fascia and muscular tension) were connected. As a result, I finally understood the "meaning" of individual exercises and approaches to the problem.
David also derived everything holistically from this: A movement portfolio, training plan for the gym, specific recommendations for my feet (e.g. footwear, dealing with insoles etc.), as well as exercises for the foot and musculoskeletal system.
In just a few weeks, I already felt a strong positive change. Previously, I had hardly been able to walk or step for 6-7 months. A few weeks after working with David, I was able to walk short and medium distances again.
My neck and lower back pain also improved dramatically and in some cases resolved completely (I've had these problems virtually all my life).
David was also able to give me a long-term roadmap for my feet, my fitness and my body. All in all, my foot is now back to 90%. I can walk longer distances without any problems, and am now slowly starting to jog again (which seemed impossible before the collaboration, I wasn't sure I would ever be able to put that much weight on my foot again)
In addition, David is always fully committed and "on hand" at all times. If you ask David for a small tip, he will shower you with added value and recommendations based on years of experience. Since the beginning, I have only experienced one thing from David: he goes the absolute extra mile every step of the way and puts his heart and soul into what he does, which is reflected not only in his pleasant manner, but also in his expertise.
In a nutshell: I can absolutely and warmly recommend David. Not only does he have a "crazy" depth of knowledge in all areas of body, nutrition, exercise, fitness & Co. - he is also a really great guy on a human level.
