From the last two years, our medium-sized company in Bavaria had accumulated Corona aid loans and other bank liabilities. In the course of an unfortunately sluggish business development, we would probably no longer have been able to service the installments. Therefore, at the end of last year, on recommendation, we commissioned David Schirrmacher with a restructuring in the form of a reorganization plan including data room support and new business planning. After several rounds of negotiations, the restructuring plan was now accepted by our two house banks in the middle of this year. Our company continues to exist, albeit somewhat smaller, and we were able to acquire and retain the company property in particular. I am very happy as the owner, thank you very much.

As a logistics company newly launched in Bavaria in 2020, we were unable to obtain traditional loan financing from our principal bank due to the financial history of one of our shareholders. Thanks to David Schirrmacher, we have nevertheless been able to sell and lease back significant portions of our fixed assets, as well as obtain an additional line of purchase credit from an alternative financier. Thanks to the new factoring, we also get all our invoices paid on the same day to the account, instead of having to dun each customer ourselves and wait for their money. David's creative ways have enabled us to obtain a total of around half a million euros in credit. In addition, a financier has already promised us further financing in the middle of the year.

As a family business, we converted our company into a corporation, which resulted in a number of changes. For this purpose, Mr. Schirrmacher created a data room, fully prepared business documents, introduced internal audits in the accounting department in line with the goods management and accounting software, and provided helpful advice on the capital structure. He also supported the audit of this year's balance sheet and acted as contact person for the associated audits. Mr. Schirrmacher's regular contact with tax consultants and the company's bank is a great help to us, allowing us to concentrate on our actual business.

As the manager of a medium-sized company in Baden-Württemberg, my aim was to succeed the company as owner. The owner family had already agreed to a sale. With Mr. Schirrmacher's advice, I successfully completed the entire business takeover in four months. I was supported by a local cooperative bank and the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. Both accepted the application documents including the financial planning and the purchase price/company valuation by Mr. Schirrmacher at the first attempt. The notary appointment for the company purchase was two days ago and I am very pleased with how smoothly everything went. 20 jobs will thus be preserved for the next generation.

Due to our digital business model, our tax consultancy had fallen behind in the admittedly complex calculation of various balance sheet items, so that two missing annual financial statements had accumulated. In this situation, Mr. Schirrmacher analyzed the existing processes and created a calculation model for, among other things, deferred income. Further important clean-up work on the balance sheet was carried out on his advice. As a result, the tax consultancy has now applied for the long-awaited bridging aid for our company, which would not have been possible without impeccable bookkeeping. David Schirrmacher acted as a diplomatic mediator between the expectations of our shareholders, myself as managing director and the tax consultants. Thank you very much.

David Schirrmacher prepared a KfW StartGeld including a business plan, financial planning with break-even calculation, balance sheets and minimum profit calculation for my leap into self-employment. After several rounds of corrections, the plan was accepted by our savings bank and ultimately by KfW, although unfortunately not in the total amount originally applied for. I am very pleased with his patient manner, without which the process, which took several months, could not have been successfully completed

During the coronavirus crisis, David Schirrmacher drew up a KfW emergency loan for our company in April 2020, including the entire application process with a business plan and financial model. The bank accepted this plan without question and the required loan amount was paid out to us. David Schirrmacher was always honest in his expectations and always available by phone. I know that his own company had to file for bankruptcy in 2018. For this very reason, I had no worries about telling him about our financial situation honestly and openly and I am grateful to him for always reassuring us despite the difficult situation.
