Thank you so much for arranging our amazing honeymoon for me and my husband. It was the best trip we have ever taken and I think it will be hard to beat! All the internal flights and transfers ran very smoothly and the safari accommodations including lodges and hotels you selected for us were spot on, we especially loved Under Canvas Camp in Serengeti and finishing off with Mwiba Lodge was just perfect. Our guide Michael was superb. I want to go back!!..😊

We booked our travel to Tanzania and Kenya for our 25th wedding anniversary with Amara Safari.
This was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. They were always with us throughout the trip without being overbearing and constantly in communication as we were traveling with younger kids.
The places that Amara suggested were top-notch, luxurious and we felt like we were pampered all through our trip.

Every necessity and requirements were fulfilled and the people who helped us were cheerful and made it a wonderful experience.

Our safari experience with Amara Safari was absolutely phenomenal. Our knowledgeable guide Martin took us on thrilling game drives, where we encountered a diverse range of wildlife in their natural habitats. Witnessing a majestic pride of lions lazing under the shade of an acacia trees and observing elephants bathing in a nearby watering hole were moments that will forever be etched in our memory.

After spending two weeks with Amara Safari in Africa, I would like to provide an honest recommendation for this luxury safari company.

I will break down my recommendation into several key aspects that contributed to our an unforgettable safari experience.

First is the whole planning process, which honestly went soo smooth with Tommy's vast knowledge in the safari industry. He answered all our questions promptly and gave us honest recommendations to best of his ability.

Second is the our guide Amos, what a guy! Amazing man, very understanding and truly patience. He showed us everything there's to see. Thank you sir.

Third and last is our hotels and camps. Absolutely amazing and comfortable. They were very luxurious, with a touch of local hints. The impeccable service and warm hospitality of the staff made us feel like royalty during our stay. Truly impressed.

Amara Safari provided us an exceptional luxury safari experience, marked by expert guide in Amos, luxurious accommodations, and insanely authentic experience. Absolutely recommending this one.

Best Safari Vacation I've Had in a Long time.

Last year my family decided to embark on an African safari, as we've heard about it for quite sometime and we decided to give it a try. That turned out to be the best decision we've ever made!
I'll start with planning, which was quite a challenge as we didn't know what to look for in a safari, we went online and made some couple of inquiries to get a highlight of how everything should be. We stumbled upon this great company, Amara Safari, their website really intrigued me to make a formal inquiry and they did not disappoint.

They advised on everything from best time to visit, logistics, accommodations and even what pack. We arrived on January 2024 for our 9 day/ 8 nights safari in Tanzania. From reception at the airport to the lodge, everything was absolutely seamless.
We went to the parks and saw an incredible number of animals, amazing scenes. Our guide Baraka was the highlight of the show. He was a great guide and skillful driver. January is usually somewhat a wet month and sometimes it rains, but he knew how to maneuver the vehicle in a way it won't stuck in the mud.

We went on for 9 days from Tarangire, to Ngorongoro and Serengeti, Lake Manyara and finished off in Zanzibar. The beaches were warm and white sands all over the place.

Accommodations were expensive but exquisite and super luxurious. We had good food, drinks, bonfire, dinner under the stars, all good stuff you see in photos.
This was the most rewarding experience I've heard in years. Very much recommending Amara Safari.

Amara Safari is the Absolute Best - 10 days luxury unforgettable Masai Mara, Serengeti and more!

Simply cannot say enough good things about Amara Safaris. But I will try. Let's begin with my communication with the owner, Tommy. Highly responsive; made a fantastic custom itinerary for us - Nairobi, Lake Nakuru, Masai village visit, Masai Mara, North and Central Serengeti, a Serengeti Hot Air Balloon ride at sunrise, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire. Top class luxury lodgings in both Tanzania and Kenya. And the guides/drivers were outstanding to say the least.

But what we are ever so thankful for is that without Tommy, this trip would not be possible. He, out of his own accord, came commissioner's office only to ensure that we get our Tanzania visas. Not enough words to thank him.
Now our two guides - Caleb in Kenya and Baraka in Tanzania. They are the most skilled guides you will ever find always getting us the best spots and lights for photography, making sunset runs to give us the most glorious African sunset experiences. Baraka also happens to be an ornithologist - an expert on the birds of Africa! It was unbelievable to spot and photograph over 50 birds in just Serengeti. They made us feel safe, and comfortable at all times.

Now the food. The breakfast and dinner were finger-licking good in all places. But what sets Amara Safaris apart is the outstanding buffet lunches it packed every day with so many hot dishes, soups, elaborate meals, ones other Safaris' guests would only enjoy at dinners. The service at the lodges were impeccable. I will miss Maria and hasan's smiles from the Acacia Migration Camp at North Serengeti. Be it their candle light bonfire dinner under the stars in Serengeti or elaborate lunches under Acacia trees or above the Ngorngoro crater, they were all magical.
What we experienced in our 10 days East African safari during the great migration cannot be expressed in words. Be it a pride of lions feasting on a wildebeest in the middle of the night on our way to hot air balloon ride, or a cheetah feasting over its gazelle hunt within seconds of our arrival at the spot, or following a leopard for 30 minutes on its stealthily traced impala hunt, or vultures over a wildebeest remains, it was all magnificent.

Countless memories - Following millions of wildebeest in their migration to the north, floating in the air on a hot air balloon above Serengeti while savoring the sunrise, spotting over 50 magnificent African birds, many many many encounters with the Big 5 and spotting three of the small five, spending an entire day in the paradise that is called the Ngorongoro Crater, falling in love with flamingos at Lake Nakuru and Lake Manyara, sunrise over the valley at Lake Nakuru, sunset at Masai Mara, getting to meet Masai people at their villages, driving through countless villages and small towns in Kenya and Tanzania, the little kids waving their hands at us everywhere we went, it's hard to stop. Thank you so very much Tommy, Baraka, Caleb, and the entire Amara Safaris. Trip of a lifetime, indeed.

Amara Safaris gave us the trip of a lifetime

We did a custom 7-day Tanzania safari, hitting several parts of the Serengeti, Tarengire and Ngorongoro Area. We started planning the trip about three months in advance.

Erica answered promptly all our questions via email and helped us create the trip of our dreams. Every minute of the trip was amazing. David met us at the airport and was our guide on the entire safari. His English, animal knowledge, cultural knowledge, driving skills, and sense of humor were impeccable. Bonus - he is Maasai and was able to give us a window into that world.

Amara Safari was really first class all the way. While other tours were handing out box lunches and bottled water, we ate hot meals on tableclothed china with cold beer and wine, even brandy occasionally. 

Finally, there were animals! We lost count of how many animals we saw, thousands of wildebeest and zebra, probably a hundred giraffe and elephants, a dozen lions and hippos, several cheetah and hyena, one leopard, and even a painted wolf I suppose.

Great safari with Amara.. Do not hesitate to choose them, they are reliable and well organised. Tommy, the owner of the company, was very helpful at booking, he was very patient and worked out the best solution according to our requests.

In 10 days we visited Serengeti North and Central, Ngorongoro, Manyara and Tarangire National Parks. Baraka, our guide, was nice and friendly.

He explained many things about animals and plants, he was a very good driver too, he made us feel safe at any time. Jeep very comfortable. Accommodations were luxury and clean, especially Serengeti Migration Camp and Nimali Tarangire Camp were like living a dream. Good food and excellent picnic service during safari!

WONDERFUL TIME IN SERENGETI:

We booked a last minute deal flight to Dar es Salaam last week and we wanted a safari after our business meeting. We got in touch with AMARA Safaris and they truly came through, despite our many requests and requirements, they provided us with an exceptional deal of choices and we went on and booked.

Traveling as a group can be challenging especially when everyone wants something unique for themselves, so we gave them standard of the safari we imagined and they put together a really great program that included flights to from the parks (we did only Serengeti due to time constraints) and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. Saw migration, hundreds of thousands of animals. Thrilled in every possible way. Lodges were phenomeno.

I would definitely recommend this exceptional company for such an incredible hospitality.

PERFECT!!!!!....

Our safari in Tanzania has been nothing but wondrous. Amara safari gave us a top notch experience in Tanzania and Rwanda for our second African visit. Our first one, being from Germany, we thought we should start with South Africa, it went well last 2 years. Now Tanzania came to our bucket-list and being our fifth year anniversary we decided to go full luxury for 14 days. And in all honesty it was worth everything we paid for.

From planning to arrivals, we loved the whole experience. We were a bit skeptical to pay all the entire amount upfront but they assured us we could pay deposit and complete on arrival and that's what we did.

Everything went on so well, we saw lots of animals in the park including the endangered white rhinos, which are extremely a rare sight.

Fantastic lodges with beautiful services including private butlers. We loved our trip to Africa and recommend this awesome group of people. Cheers!
