For personal reasons, my deregistration was complicated. Therese provided me with individualised attention, managed communications with the Amt, explained options to me, and discreetly managed personal details. This process was much less stressful than it could have been and my deregistration was successful. What's wrong with Germany? The insane bureaucratic regulations! An example: You want to deregister from your 1st place of residence in Germany. In Stuttgart, this can be done online with a click of the mouse. In Hamburg, you have to go in person or with a power of attorney to get the same result. Fortunately, there's Abmelden.de, where you can get friendly help with all that bureaucratic stuff. It's simple and it works, no matter where you are in the world. You wish Germany's authorities had this attitude and this simplicity... but I don't want to ruin abmelden.de's business model :-)

After initial skepticism about paying an unknown company for a service in advance, I decided to place the order with Abmelden.de. I was very quickly proved wrong. The entire process was very fast and very friendly. All my questions were answered within a short time. In my case there was still a problem with the processing, but here too the response was professional and quick. There are no hidden costs, and in special cases like mine, the prices were made transparent immediately. My matter has now been resolved and I can only recommend this company.

They are too slow for something that should be fast, never reply, AWFUL UX (where you can't even have the messages ordered). Nobody help, they copy-paste prepared answers instead of reading your issue
