My profoundly dyslexic daughter did 800+ hours over 5 years of extremely rigorous (and boring) 1-on-1 Orton-Gillingham based intervention and remediation. While it left her with the skills to read, in her day-to-day life, she still rushed, made many typical dyslexic mistakes, disliked reading, complained it was too hard, and seemed to have plateaued. We're so happy we found Duden Institut; in just 4 months, we are seeing her begin to progress again and complain less about reading. In addition, she genuinely enjoys and looks forward to her therapy each week, so it's a win-win situation for us!
