I have to be honest and say that I had hoped for much more from the business course. Sometimes there was no feedback at all on support requests, or you were redirected to others where you should ask first. I really thought I would be able to set up my own business after the course. The only thing that was really great was that I was able to build my own website. I think more was promised than was delivered in the end. That's a real shame because I was very motivated going into the course and then gradually lost my motivation.

Incredibly good course that goes into incredible depth in terms of content and also manages to bring the passion for photography to the streets of your own business in full horsepower! Best service, close to people and very well-founded. I would book again at any time!

With the business course at Fotografenschmiede, I was able to build a super solid foundation for my own photography business. At the beginning of 2022, I decided to start my own photography business. With the help of Fotografenschmiede, I was given all the important building blocks. My start as a self-employed photographer was perfect because I learned how to position myself, was able to build my website, calculate my prices sensibly, learned how to market and advertise via Google and social media and much more. The team at Fotografenschmiede was there for me at all times to answer all my questions. I couldn't have started my business any better than with Fotografenschmiede. I'm now in my third year and I'm continuing to develop. Without the business course, I wouldn't be where I am now. Thank you very much for this great business course, which is perfect for photographers who want to start their own business.

I find the business course very comprehensive and well-founded! In my opinion, it contains everything you need to get started in the photography business, be it in the form of videos, calls, texts, forms, etc. Bringing in experts adds even more depth and variety. The Fotografenschmiede team answered all questions quickly and competently, both in the weekly coffee rounds and in messages. I didn't manage to take the course at the original pace, and am grateful that all the recordings are always available to us, and that I can dedicate myself to the individual topics when it's my turn, and also that the Fotografenschmiede support lasts a whole year! The business course has created a great network on various topics. It's just so enriching and inspiring and we continue to support each other! In the course itself, I sometimes missed the personal touch due to the course size of over 100 participants. I would have really enjoyed a more personal exchange and feedback, especially on the topics of mindset, finding the right direction for my photography, where I actually stand with my photography, etc. In the coffee rounds, I found it remarkable that even the last question asked was really answered, but it was also very lengthy in this way, especially as the questions were often very specific, especially when it came to website construction. All in all, I found the course very worthwhile and would definitely recommend it to others!

Unfortunately, the Design Cloud is just a collection of bad Flothemes copies and stolen designs. The original designs from real professionals are also cheaper.

I am very happy to have booked the course. My expectations were actually exceeded - my minimum goal was to create a great website. Everything else is nice to have. But I learned a lot and I can watch the numerous videos at any time. I can recommend it to any photographer who wants to create a solid foundation for her business.

The heartbeat course makes my photography heart beat faster! Within a very short time, I have learned to take photos in manual mode and will never turn the wheel back from M mode to automatic programs again. The course book is always to hand, the videos are not too long and I have been able to do something for my photography every day - despite having two small children. It sounds crazy, but the course has changed my life. Thank you!

The support from the whole team, the exchange with each other, the knowledge transfer and great structuring with the workbook and especially the instructions for building a website were incredibly helpful and really recommendable. Our business course has just finished and I have to say: I am so infinitely glad that I made the decision to invest in the course!

I probably would have managed to set up my own business as a photographer in some other way at some point. But by taking the course, everyone took the self-employed photographer project much more seriously - both friends & families and myself. You can't underestimate how much time you have to put into it. But without the course, I certainly wouldn't have defined my dream client, calculated prices & packages, built a website, advertised, planned a mini-shoot and been booked for my first shoots within 3 months!

It's just amazing how much support you get at Fotografenschmiede! All the materials alone (course book, videos, templates) are incredibly helpful. But the combination with the live calls and the 12 months of support make the course unique and so valuable! There was really never a question that went unanswered - and I think we really exhausted it :D

I was recently told how great it would be to build my own website and have such an idea about it.
My answer was: I don't, I just have a really great course where there are explanatory videos that you just have to click on. Anyone can do it, it's so well explained!
Thanks to you I had enough self-confidence last year to master my first daycare jobs and this year I'm already at 15 daycare bookings.... most of the bookings started with: Your flyer and your website are so appealing.... (I had the flyer from you as a template and of course modified it in my style).

I did the course in March 2023 and am suuuuper happy with it! 😊 The course definitely exceeded my expectations!

I have built up my business in Spain and have already won 11 wedding bookings for the first year. The plan is to become self-employed full-time in 2025 :)

It helped me a lot to have a plan of what I can do when and in what order so that I don't get lost. That was my biggest problem: I want to start but have no idea where and how 😅 The course is a really great guide!

The quality of the videos and the workbook is also mega, there are always updates and everything is always up to date. The services are great: when Flothemes stopped, alternatives were created within a very short time, new videos were available, everything was well explained and easy to follow. I have some experience with design and setting up websites, so it was very easy for me to implement the instructions, but I think even without any experience you could have done it really well.

And if a problem does arise, the customer service is super quick and helpful :)

I found the website and marketing parts of the course particularly helpful. I think these are also the areas that most business beginners worry about the most!

The only thing I would like to see is a module on selling. There is a "customer service" module, but unfortunately not really how to conduct a sales pitch. That would have been very helpful, because if you've never done sales before, it's a super important skill that's not so easy to learn.

All in all, however, I am very, very, very satisfied and have definitely achieved more after a year than I would have believed before 😊

Hello, I did the business course in March 2023 and looking back I am so happy and grateful to have chosen the Fotografenschmiede. Within a year, I have built up a sustainable business in the field of baby bump/newborn and family photography and was able to develop incredibly thanks to the valuable input from Fotografenschmiede. The course is very broadly based - in addition to the basics of photography and camera operation, I was also able to learn a lot about mindset and now describe myself very confidently as a photographer. Building the website was the centerpiece - you have to show a lot of initiative, but you get everything you need for it - I never had to wait long for questions and I always received helpful support. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend the course to anyone who wants to get more out of their photography. It's also great that you can do everything at your own pace and receive support from the team for a year and that I'm still super connected with other participants now, a year later, and we continue to regularly exchange ideas and help each other. THANK YOU for everything!

Almost 1.5 years ago (December 2022), as a newcomer to photography, I laid the foundation for my business with the Fotografenschmiede and through the course I found my passion for self-employment as a photographer (and also my photo direction :-)). The course covers all the important basics and I have gained an enormous amount of knowledge from it.

I would recommend Fotografenschmiede at any time because they are simply genuine. Such lovely people who are neither aloof nor condescending. Everything they say is easy to understand and realistic. They don't promise the blue sky, but if you stick with it and take advantage of the offer, you can get pretty damn far. The videos and the support for the business course are very easy to understand and even someone who doesn't understand much about websites and the like can manage it click by click. I got quick answers to all my questions and no matter how stupid it was, they didn't give up until my problem was solved. So absolutely recommendable!

The course is very comprehensive and really worth every penny. I can only recommend it to anyone who has doubts about whether they should book the course or not. I was already taking photos before the course, but I was worlds away from a business. At the moment I'm still on parental leave from my main job and I'm thinking about whether I'll even go back to my old job after parental leave. Tine and Arthur are super friendly and a perfect team - I felt really well looked after in all areas and can wholeheartedly recommend Fotografenschmiede.
