I have made connections with the present and with the past. Realizing that there were lingering emotions that I was holding on to. I physically said them out loud but haven't internally deal with the damage.
Liberating is one of many words that comes to mind.
The best thing was the neutral perspective that was given. This helped me see a version of the story that I have been telling myself, a new light, a new perspective. I never knew the "bad" things that happened was also "good".
