In August 2024, I instructed the law firm Reilbach Rechtsanwälte in a case concerning a retained rental deposit. Initially, the cooperation was positive: My contact person, Mr. Clemens Ditges, responded quickly, was friendly and quickly formulated the first letters.

However, from September 2024 - despite several emails and phone calls - I received no further response. Repeated assurances that I would "receive an answer soon" were also to no avail. In March 2025, I informed the law firm in writing that I had been waiting for a response for months. However, there was still no reply.

In between, I was addressed by the wrong name in communications ("Mr. Geldhausen") and had to re-state my case several times, as so much time had passed between contacts that I apparently had no memory of it. A reply to the other party took several months.

I have been trying to get information about the status of my case for over six months now. I am always assured by telephone that my inquiry will be forwarded - without any concrete response.

In my opinion, the overall approach is unprofessional and not client-oriented. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this law firm to anyone.

I found out today that we won the appeal hearing, after everything had dragged on for over a year, we had already won in the first instance, it was a long way but we went it together. Thanks to Mrs. Schnierstein for everything, very competent, friendly and always an open ear when there were questions, communication was without problems despite the 500 km distance. I personally can only recommend the law firm and if you have trouble with your employer just ask Ms. Schnierstein, you are in the best hands. Thanks again for everything.

The Reilbach law firm was recommended to us by our legal expenses insurance. Attorney Clemens Ditges was responsible for our problem (tenancy law).
