From 2 appointments on site, 8 were made - some not kept or not canceled. It took 20 weeks from the conversation in the Berlin showroom to the rectification of the last defects!
During assembly, the existing lamp was pointed out - it did not interfere....tat it did and then hung on the cable on the house wall. There is enough space to take this into account before attaching the awning to the house wall. Main awning with various holes (at this price I expect a quality check before delivery) and weather station not ordered. Appointments for rectification sometimes very spongy - midday / early afternoon - really annoying with 6 additional appointments.
The cloth was replaced and the weather station fitted weeks later - but not wind/rain in 1 device as agreed in the sales meeting. So the rain sensor was returned straight away. The additional sun sensor turned out to be a huge problem. Wind / rain should retract the awning. But the sun sensor retracts the awning - which was absolutely not what we wanted. According to the brochure supplied, there is also a warning against unattended extension.
Sun sensor set incorrectly during installation (min. sensitivity) - so all 3 awnings extended on their own as far as they would go (there was no agreement on this) and the swing was in the way. The next attempt to deactivate the sun sensor also failed - the main awning extended completely (as the weather station was not ordered at the same time, there was no way for us to deactivate it as the remote control does not allow this). So we had the weather station dismantled again. I assume that the fitters were not on the same page as the weather station - no information was sent to the motor control unit that the weather station had been removed. As a result, the main awning generally retracted again after 1 hour for safety reasons, as it received no response from the sensor that was no longer there. I am now well read up on the subject.
Even though everyone was very nice during the consultation, the measurement and the 3 teams that were on site in the meantime, the 6 additional appointments don't make up for it.
The price/performance ratio here is zero. I expect the fitters to be more knowledgeable than the housewife! I also can't see how the sum is made up - the invoice is written in very general terms.
Our old roofing and awning together came to 1 / 5 of the total now. In the meantime, the QBus cracks a lot when the sun heats up / when it's cloudy - its predecessor didn't, although it was also a metal frame. Expensive doesn't always have to be good - too bad, that was a real lesson.
Just the time span between the visit to Schatteria and assembly ( 27.01.-12.04.2024 ) and simultaneous advertising for new customers with guaranteed delivery times of 4 weeks, gave me the first doubts. But after the odyssey now .........NEVER AGAIN.
When the story with the sun sensor was still going on, I received an email from the accounts department after paying the balance: "We are pleased that your building project has been completed by us and that you are satisfied with the product, installation and sale.
Another example of the fact that people in the company probably don't talk to each other. None of the 3 points apply and you feel blatantly cheated.
Not a hint of concession for your nerves, time and trouble.
When I look at the other reviews, it doesn't seem to be part of the normal process, or the hard-to-find review page prevents me from reporting.
