We enjoyed working with Thomas as he helped our scientists and students prepare for the annual science slam competition during Dresden Science Night. His two-day workshop exceeded all expectations.

Thomas demonstrated an exceptional ability to guide participants through the intricacies of public speaking, science communication, and storytelling in an accessible and engaging manner. Throughout the workshop, he kept everyone actively involved, skillfully answering questions and fostering a supportive environment. The balance between theory and practice was outstanding. Participants had the opportunity to work through a thoughtfully designed study book that Thomas provided. Not only was it a pleasure to use due to its clarity and structure, but it was also beautifully designed, making the learning experience even more enjoyable. The study book doubled as a lasting resource for participants, summarizing the main ideas of the workshop and serving as a reference for their future scientific presentations.

Thomas’s expertise in communication is undeniable, but what truly sets him apart is his delivery. His workshop was dynamic, interactive, and engaging - very far from a standard, boring lecture. It was an experience that left a lasting impression on all participants.

Thanks to his guidance, our science slam was one of the most successful we had in years. It is always a pleasure to tap into Thomas’s vast experience and benefit from his exceptional talent for communicating complex topics. I cannot recommend him highly enough for anyone looking to elevate their science communication!

Science communication is a subject area in which technical terms very often predominate. Not so with Thomas Frei. He manages to convey the content of this important topic in such an understandable way by means of good storytelling that new "aha" moments constantly arise during the lecture.
An amusing, entertaining lecture peppered with personal experiences and anecdotes. Thomas Frei knows what he is talking about, has a wealth of experience and is therefore an asset to any lecture event. Many thanks for a great lecture! Highly recommended!

He was very likeable but there were also many aha moments. I must also say that he really knows what he is talking about and I give him a clear recommendation.
