It is correct that the cost of removing the graffiti is covered by your premium homeowners insurance policy, but not the cost of replacing or adjusting the paint, painting, lettering, trim or siding on the exterior facade. In forwarding the letter to them for approval of damage repair by the insurer, we failed to advise you of this uninsured circumstance, although usually the damage should have been repaired even in the absence of insurance coverage.
We recognize that our failure to advise you was unfortunate and not in keeping with our service promise. This was a mistake on our part and for this we would like to sincerely apologize to you.

I have private liability and death benefits with VBH, nothing else. I am also already of retirement age and have no other needs. Recently I got an offer to change my liability and it will even be a little cheaper. Great, where everything in Germany is getting more expensive, I can at least save a few euros on insurance.
