The topic of the seminar was "Mental health at work" - unfortunately, I had the feeling that the seminar was well tailored for colleagues with customer contact, such as the field service. At my appointment, however, only colleagues from the office with little or no customer contact participated, which is why the focus was mMn wrong. I would have preferred topics such as conflict management in the workplace, etc.
Furthermore, some topics were conveyed very insensitively and were superficial and discriminatory.
- Victim mentality: Participants are not encouraged or even discouraged to point out difficulties in the company, because the participants are supposed to make themselves responsible for everything -> this is very difficult for people who already have poor self-confidence, and leads to the fact that difficulties are concealed and companies can not solve problems in time.
- Energy in cells etc.: "woman" gets breast cancer because she has a problem with her womanhood --> such statements are highly unprofessional, wrong, insulting and make the situation for possible sufferers many times worse, so these should be deleted from any program without replacement!
