Dear Mr. Nolten, your consultation a few months ago was a great blessing - I still benefit daily from our conversation together.

Before the conversation, I was convinced that I would want to start again with medicine after my business studies. I felt uncertain about my career plans and couldn't really identify with any future option. Fortunately, you were recommended to me by acquaintances!

The whole day went by really fast because the individual exercises were very focused and fun. Even during the day I was surprised that some exercises were unexpectedly very easy for me and others were very challenging. From time to time, this even caused a laugh, because it was totally exciting to see that one actually has focal points in the talents.

Your inspiring and emphatic manner made me feel completely at ease and also gave me the space to open up completely. The atmosphere gave me the chance to get everything off my chest without thinking too much - whether important or unimportant. They each responded very competently and understandingly, I was thrilled.

But with the final meeting together with my parents, the enthusiasm quickly turned into disbelief. Disbelief at the insanely accurate assessments of me, the connections and the interesting personality profile. You opened my eyes and gave me a whole new perspective. To this day, I don't know how you did it - you assessed me better that day than I could have ever assessed myself after 20 years of life.

In a few weeks, my internship at Porsche Consulting will begin, which I would never have attempted under any circumstances without your assessment. Individual and professional advice! In advance, I expected professional support from my career counseling at Nolten in my search for a possible future course of study. It was remarkable how precisely and honestly, in the preparation in the first half of the day, my own abilities and strengths were worked out. The summary of the results and the final consultation led to a study recommendation. Personally, I had already sorted out the recommended study in my search. However, the counseling led to a result that showed me a development opportunity that matched my strengths and interests.

My name is Teresa and I came to Mr. Nolten in Berlin shortly after my Abitur. Before I came to the student advisory service, I was very undecided about what I wanted to study: I didn't have any clear interests in just one particular area, nor did I have any known very specific skills in any particular area. As a typical all-rounder who can do a little bit of everything, is maybe better at some things and worse at others, but couldn't pinpoint or categorize those strengths, I was completely up in the air when it came to choosing a major. Mr. Nolten helped me to structure and classify my strengths, abilities and interests, which shed light on the matter for me personally. Mr. Nolten was very nice, courteous and polite and I felt heard and understood during the discussions. Even though I spent a little more time looking around for courses of study afterwards and was sure that I wanted to be sure and therefore waited with the evaluation to let them know how it turned out for me, in the end I really came back to exactly what Mr. Nolten had recommended to me as my first option! I can only recommend such a consultation to anyone who would like to have an objective view of himself, because it helped me a lot in my choice and opened my eyes to possibilities that I might never have thought of on my own :)

Mr. Nolten is professional throughout the counseling and always very friendly and courteous. Not only did the academic advising help me find out where my strengths and weaknesses lie and show me where my personal interests can lead me, Mr. Nolten also prepared me very individually and in a structured way for the selection process and interview for my desired degree program.

Very professional and thorough preparation of the appointment. Amazing how precisely one's own abilities and characteristics were worked out in the first part of the day, the personal interview. After another round of testing and a necessary lunch break, we went into the summary of the results and the consulting part. I am very satisfied with the result of the day, as it brought an adjustment of thoughts around potential development opportunities in a sustainable way. I have and can definitely recommend Nolten.
