If you're looking for the right financial products, stick to that strategy and go to an independent advisor who can show you multiple rates from different providers.
If you go to Galeria Kaufhof, you can look at different t-shirts from different brands. Adidas, Nike, Puma. And the salesman doesn't care much which T-shirt you end up choosing. He can even be so honest with you and say: "Listen, the T-shirt from Adidas doesn't really suit you. Try the one from Nike."
A consultant at Adidas may also say "wow, that T-shirt looks good on you!" even though it doesn't... at all.
After all, this consultant has to come up with something to convince you of this product. Because he is afraid that otherwise you will leave the store again without the T-shirt and go across the street to the competition.
And exactly this is the big difference between a consultant who works FOR only ONE company (bank, insurance) and an independent consultant.
The advisor at the bank or insurance company is on the side of his company and has to get you excited (and possibly pressure you) about their products.
The independent consultant is on the side of the customer and looks for "the right T-shirt for you" together with you in a very relaxed way.
In addition, an advisor at the bank or insurance company cannot deliver a single advantage compared to an independent advisor.
The independent consultants have access to the same products and the same tariffs of the companies as the consultants who work directly for these companies (many probably do not even know this). And at the same terms and conditions. At the same premium. With the same benefits.

You have perfectly summarized the advantage a client has with an independent advisor :-).
While customers with advisors who cover only one company and only one area always get only one topic explained (e.g. hedging, asset accumulation, taxes, etc.), customers with an independent advisor get a TOTAL CONCEPT that is coordinated with each other.

Our business relationship is already many years old. Norman Heckenbach shows an interest in the person, also gets in touch just like that in between and asks how things are going. He helps when I'm looking for a suitable product, from insurance to investments, but also comes up with his own ideas when he's discovered a product that he's convinced of and believes suits me. He answers all open questions and is understanding when one needs time to think things over.
