Previous story: For some time I have been looking for a local dealer for high quality tea. After searching the internet, I found Robert's Teahouse and wasn't sure at first. Buying tea online is iffy and I've never tried his offerings.
In the end, I thought I couldn't go far wrong with the prices and bought a kilo of Ti Kuan Yin, a kilo of Cui Lu and the test set.
I have lived in China before and got a lot of expensive tea during business meetings and got a list of favorites over time, all of which individually cost far more than this whole set.
Delivery: The products arrived in the normal time frame and were professionally sealed.
Packaging: The bags are really nice, large, air and sun protective and lightweight and have a healthy friendly look from the print and color.
The product: the products themselves are exceptional. My favorite is the Ti Kuan Yin, which tastes very good, this one competes with some of my much more expensive options. The Cui Lu is good, but didn't surprise me as much. The Japanese tea sample and the jasmine pearls were also strong and recommended for future orders. I personally didn't like the Pu Erh as much, but again, it's more about personal preference than this one.
Service: the packaging was fine for the most part - however, one bag was broken (a hole at the bottom) so the tea was stored unsuitably for an unknown amount of time. After a really short conversation, in which the owner answered me several times very quickly - even in the evening - I got a second delivery with a new tea and a perfect zipper bag.
Overall: The quality is great for the price, the owner works fairly and cares about you and his business so you don't have to worry about any problems with the delivery or the products. It's great to find something so convenient instead of ordering from China or buying the low quality, overpriced standard tea in most western online stores.

I lived in China before and got several presents during business meeting in which I got a lot of pricey tea and made a list of favorites, which all cost way more than the selection.
Delivery: The products came in the normal time frame and where sealed professionally.
Packgaging: The bags are really nice, large, air and sun protective and light and have a somehow healthy friendly vibe.
Product: The products themselves are exceptional. My Favorite is the Ti Kuan Yin, that tastes great and can compete with some of my way more expensive leafs. The Cui Lu is good but did not surprise me as much. The Japanese tea sample and the Jasmin pearls were also strong and recommended themselves for future orders. I personally did not like the Pu Erh to much, but again this is rather a matter of general preferences than of this single one.
Serivce: The Package was mostly fine - However one Zip was broken and had a whole so that the tea was not stored securely for some unknown time. After a really short conversation in which the Owner replied me several times after a short amount of time - even in the evening I got a second delivery with a new tea and perfect zip bag.
Total: The Quality is great for the price, the owner operates fairly and cares for you and his business so you do not have to fear any issues with delivery or products. Its great to found something this convenient instead of sourcing for China or buying the low quality over priced standard tea from most western online stores.
