Ms. Scheide is a calm, understanding, and competent tutor who adapts to each child’s individual needs. It’s worth every penny! We tried a few different tutoring options (Schülerhilfe, etc.), but unfortunately without success. The ABACUS concept couldn’t be better!! My son was struggling a lot with math, but thanks to the tutoring, he went from a 5 to a 3. His tutor was fantastic—he lives and breathes math and managed to turn it from a hated subject into something my son actually enjoys...

We are very satisfied with the tutoring. My daughter received support in math and Latin. The tutors are very friendly, motivated, and empathetic when it comes to individual difficulties. The one-on-one tutoring allowed them to address her problems in a targeted manner. It's especially nice that the teachers really care about the students understanding the material. My daughter felt very comfortable and made great progress.

We really liked the principle of providing tutoring 'in person' in the student's familiar environment, which leaves other tutoring institutions that work exclusively online far behind. We also had a very dedicated and reliable tutor who brought our child up to a good level of performance and thus did an excellent job. ABACUS Tutoring always focused on what was currently being covered in class and what our daughter needed to prepare for. They also discussed what would be important for the next lesson, and the tutor was always prepared and provided additional material.

The tutoring helped our daughter become more confident in English, both in writing and speaking. One afternoon a week was enough for our daughter to prepare for class on her own, and we no longer had to help her. This also made family life much easier. Thank you again!
