The Duden Institute for Learning Therapy Berlin-Hellersdorf offers individually tailored intergrative learning therapy to children and adolescents who have major learning difficulties in reading, writing and arithmetic.
The concept is based on a scientifically founded and proven concept of the Duden Institute for Learning Therapy for 30 years. ...
Learn successfully. Become confident.
Has your child over a longer period of time:
- Failures in learning to read and spell
- serious difficulties with arithmetic
- above average persistent problems in learning English
- despite practicing, the errors do not decrease
- avoidance and little willingness to deal with reading and writing, arithmetic or English
- self-confidence suffers from the failures
These signs may indicate serious learning difficulties, such as a dyslexia, dyscalculia or English weakness. These difficulties can be overcome with the help of integrative learning therapy.
In integrative learning therapy, we combine pedagogical, psychological and subject-specific didactic measures. The focus is on the therapeutic conversation and the therapeutic relationship.
In small steps, the foundations are laid in individual therapy to be able to meet the school requirements again. The starting points are a comprehensive diagnosis, an individual therapy plan and the selection of the appropriate therapist, thus providing a promising start for a successful learning therapy.
If you would like to make use of a consultation, an initial discussion or a diagnosis, please call us, use the contact form or send us an e-mail. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Very friendly, benevolent, helpful and appreciative institute management. My son, although very exhausted after his first appointment, felt comfortable there, it was a very mindful approach to him.
A very caring, detailed telephone consultation. Even over the phone we felt very understood. Mrs. Lindner has given us very many valuable tips. We thank you very much!
Our child was seen as a whole person with all references in his environment. He was not only cared for in a purely professional way, but as far as it was necessary, questions from his home environment were also touched upon.
With the learning therapy he found a normal access to the school everyday life again.
We had been very satisfied. Due to the pandemic, the therapy for dyscalculia was not as it would have been if this pandemic had not occurred. The Duden Institute and the therapist made a lot of effort and implemented many things. Personally, I notice now in the 7th grade of my child that the therapy dyscalculia could have been well and gladly another 1 year, but the Duden Institute can not do anything for that! 2 years before LRS therapy has brought very much. I am only of the opinion that a dyscalculia does not grow out and you get from grade 5 no disadvantage compensation or grade protection not fair but also here the Dudeninstitut nothing for it! They do not decide that and are also mostly my opinion. Of course, it always depends on how mild or severe a child's learning disability is. I would recommend it because there are competent therapists and it is always looked who fits to the child and individual offers and also suggestions of the parents are included and it is also very well explained what is what the child has. I found that very good because I can support my child so much better and understand it and not just say that it is lazy or should make an effort! It goes with tricks and patience slower but it is more sustainable and I hope for other children that the people who decide when it is recognized or not to understand that even a dyscalculia must be recognized beyond the 4th grade!!!! You are a great team and I would come back with my daughter anytime.
It was a very comprehensive, competent consultation, very friendly and approachable. I felt in good hands and have the feeling that my child is also here.
Mrs Lindner took 1h time and asked much better questions than my child's teachers. also better than the Studienkreis. Further steps were recommended - that made us very happy
We were more than happy with the therapists and how the lessons were prepared and delivered. It helped my daughter a lot and she can only do math and understand better than 2.5 years ago. Thank you for the great work! Mrs. Woile (Mom Kimberly-Sophie Lange)
The boss, Mrs. Lindner, is the upper hammer. Very great, honest and competent. The lady at the reception is courteous and friendly.
The teacher, Mrs. Hahnfeld was very well received by the child and us, the guardians. With Mrs. Müller, there were slight teething problems and less success at school. Now this was also during the difficult Corona time and has less to do with the educators. I think we will come again.
The initial meeting with Ms. Lindner was very open-minded, friendly and informative. In the end, our daughter did not have a dyscalculia after analysis at school, so we cannot evaluate the learning therapy.
The learning therapy has helped my son very much, especially the teacher Ms. Mehm was very friendly, nice and competent. My son was very satisfied with her and was always happy to go to therapy.we can recommend the learning therapy.
My son was at the Duden Institute for 3 years and it worked wonders. He has made super improvements. Gaps in knowledge were specifically addressed. Even if one wanted to change from German to math, this request was made as quickly as possible. When an appointment was cancelled, they were very accommodating in finding a new appointment. The entire team is super friendly and helpful in every situation. Too bad that there are only 3 years.
The very best greetings Andre von Döhren and family
The Duden Institute has helped my child a lot. He now copes better with his dyslexia, understands more and has learned to deal with his dyslexia better. I, as a parent, have learned to support my child better and have gained more understanding about his dyslexia. Thank you for your support in teaching us to understand and deal with LRS.
