After changing employers and taking on a new team, I found myself facing completely different challenges than in my previous management role. I therefore sought external coaching as I wanted to expand my skills and also wanted to know whether the approach I thought was right was really good. Caroline Koerber was suggested to me by our HR department and I had a good feeling right from the first contact.

In Caroline, I found a competent, empathetic and structured contact person who has an incredible wealth of knowledge, experience and a wide variety of methods, some of which I knew but had forgotten in practice. Together with Caroline, I was able to bring these skills back to life and expand them or acquire completely new knowledge and skills. Her coaching sessions are a good mix of theory (leadership in general) and practice. Together we always looked at what was important at the time. She always sees the person and not just the manager.

For anyone looking for coaching: you've come to the right place!

Caroline Koerber particularly addressed spontaneous topics in her coaching.
She used both classic coaching using questioning techniques and sharing her knowledge where appropriate. For example, we talked about transactional analysis when I could use these perspectives.

Caroline helped me to question my email culture and meeting culture and to consistently say "no" to appointments that are time wasters.

I can recommend Caroline to anyone who wants to develop personally. Before I started, unforeseen situations completely upset me, I was unable to act and froze until the situation was clarified. There was a noticeable improvement after the first few sessions with Caroline. Now, after the coaching, I am (as I had hoped) more resilient, more mindful of myself and my resources/strengths, can communicate more clearly and above all without conflict and am generally no longer so easily thrown off track. Fresh into my first management role, confronted with a colorful bouquet of challenges and the uncertainty of a period of "leadership on trial", my desire for professional coaching outside the company was very great. Caroline Koerber was suggested to me by the HR department and already at our first appointment she gave me a useful tool to tackle the first uncertainties.

In the subsequent appointments, I was always able to bring up topics that were on my mind at the time and develop solutions together with Caroline. I particularly appreciated the fact that the solutions were found by me and that Caroline was able to point out various possibilities and approaches as a guide. This opportunity for individuality in guiding is particularly important to me.

In addition to my topics, we also took a look at leadership in general and thus put spotlights on points that would either not have occurred to me without Caroline's help or would have presented themselves as new challenges in my later work without the informal exchange right at the beginning of my role.
