We’ve been using a window contact switch from Schauspieler for our range hood for about two years, but it suddenly stopped working. The kitchen showroom wanted to sell us a NEW one. After a very friendly and knowledgeable phone call with Ms. Kreizinger from Schabus, we sent in the defective switch and received it back, repaired and free of charge, after just a few days. The heating system failed because the CO detector stopped working due to age and shut down the heating system as a safety measure. I ordered a replacement CO detector from the Elektrotechnik Schabus online store, and the part was delivered by DHL the very next day. So, a good selection of parts in the online store, plus fast shipping. It took less than 39 hours from the time the system failed until the heating was back up and running. Thanks to Schabus’s excellent service—this was yet another outstanding experience. Schabus is highly recommended.

After my FDS 100 wireless window transmitter started malfunctioning intermittently, I suspected a loose connection. The manufacturer, Schabus, offered me a free inspection and repair without any hassle. The device was returned fully repaired after just one week—they even covered the return shipping costs.
After installation, the range hood is working perfectly again. You rarely experience such customer-friendly service these days. I broke my FDS 100 transmitter while changing the battery. After contacting Schabus, I was asked to send in the defective transmitter. A week later, it came back fully repaired, with no charge and no shipping costs. I installed the transmitter right away, and now the range hood is working again. I’ve rarely experienced such great service—many thanks to Schabus!
