I traveled alone with three children (16, 14, 11 yrs.) for 15 days: Rio, Iguaçu, Manaus, Amazonas, Salvador de Bahía, Imbassaí). We had a wonderful trip, saw and experienced a lot and were impressed by the size and diversity of the country. Logistically, everything went very smoothly in Brazil, the flights were always on time, no suitcases were lost, the guides and drivers were very friendly and pleasant. We followed the well-explained and well thought-out safety instructions and never felt unsafe or in danger.
The accommodation in Salvador der Bahía (Pousada Solar dos Deuses) was particularly nice, the best food was at the Tupana Lodge in the Amazon - it was incredible what they conjured up on the buffet in the middle of the Amazon - the tour guides were all friendly and well informed.
The Brazilian partner agencies Blumar and Tours Bahia made a highly professional impression on us and also seem to pay their employees well. The same goes for the staff at Tupana Lodge, who seemed very happy - pay and accommodation there seem to be better than at other Amazon lodges.

We had a great , safe and trouble-free trip through Brazil with wonderful impressions. (Rio, Iguaçu, Manaus, Amazon Lodge, Salvador) The very reliable local tour guides were instrumental in this. Especially Loni in Iguaçu gave us an unforgettable, beautiful and eventful day. All flights with Latam worked out well and the handling was super easy.

My wife and I wanted to fulfill the dream of the carnival in Rio and turned after already 2 of Gateway best organized Brazil trips again to the Leipzig address. Mrs. Daniela Stock recommended the visit of the "Winners Parade" from Carnival 23. This was an excellent suggestion, especially since the 6 winning samba schools held their parades again in the Sambadromo. The advantage: you get to see the best teams. In addition, the event falls at the end of the carnival season, which means that the very big hype is already over and you can do other sightseeing / excursions in Rio. This is only possible with restrictions during the main time of the carnival. - From the gateway partner Blumar, the transfer to and from the Sambodromo was well organized, as in general all transfers went off without a hitch. - For Salvador we booked the tours a) "On the traces of the African roots" and b) "Bahia by night - dinner & show". Ad a): On foot and by public bus, the guide explored with us a typical market and the Pelourinho. Here we learned capoera and drumming art as active participants. A wonderful experience!
Ad b) In a colorful dance show, typical regional dances and rhythms were presented and afterwards we had dinner in a very good typical restaurant (no tourist mass processing).
All in all 2 wonderfully eventful days!
Also during our other two trips to Brazil we noticed that the tours offered by Gateway are of high quality and the guides of the partner offices in Brazil are highly professional!

We were through Gateway Brazil with 2 people 3 weeks through Brazil (Iguacu, Pantanal, Amazon, Salvador, Imbassai) on the road. From the consultation in advance to the implementation of the trip itself, everything worked wonderfully. Questions were always answered quickly, competently and very friendly by phone or email. The selected hotels and accommodations were impeccable and also the tour guides and guides were excellently selected. Many thanks to the entire team and especially our consultant Ms. Stock!

We booked the Natural Wounds of Brazil through Gateway Brazil, followed by a beach vacation near Salvador. It was a fantastically beautiful vacation. Perfectly organized, with great guides. Thank you very much for the great organization.

We booked the 8 -day Costa Verde car rental tour through Gateway and were totally thrilled! Everything was very well organized and thought out. The roads were easy to drive & the accommodations were very stylishly furnished. The different places on the tour were very varied & beautiful. Especially Ilha Grande is now definitely one of the must do's in Brazil for us. But also Paraty & the other cities were really great. Conclusion: The rental car tour is really recommended & we are already looking forward to our next trip.
Oh and not to forget: The breakfast was super delicious!

We made an individual Brazil trip to Rio, Iguassu, Olinda, Recife and Porto do Galinhas, which was planned very competently for us. The time periods and itineraries were just right, the accommodations chosen were very good and more than exceeded our expectations. The guides were all quite excellent and so we were able to gain a wonderful impression of this beautiful country. We were in Brazil for 3 weeks with Gateway Brazil. The advice in advance was detailed, the communication by e-mail always fast and complete.
On site everything worked perfectly, drivers and guides were always on time and super friendly. The recommended hotels were also great, we felt extremely comfortable.
All in all, we had an unforgettable vacation.
