We’re conveniently just 2 hours from the Bay Area, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Redding, Lake Tahoe, and Reno, and only 1 hour from Sacramento.

About the German Dog Training Center
The German Dog Training Center is a 7-acre facility in Northern California, home to both Zwinger vom Heidelberger Schloss and a state-of-the-art training ground. Owned by expert breeder and trainer Thomas Sauerhoefer, who has over 30 years of experience, this facility is the perfect place to care for and train German Shepherds.

The center also hosts the Marysville Schutzhund Club, one of the most active GSDCA WDA clubs in the area. This club holds up to three Schutzhund trials annually and participates in events like Canine Good Citizen testing and other community activities around Marysville, Yuba City, Grass Valley, Sacramento, and San Francisco.

Our center is a trusted provider of top-quality German Shepherds for families, personal and executive protection, and law enforcement agencies. Our central location is easily accessible throughout Northern California, including the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Napa Valley. We also accommodate customers across Southern California and out-of-state by offering convenient shipping options or the chance to pick up your new dog directly from our facility.
