I can unreservedly recommend HD-CMS for small to medium "standard" websites. For this, HD-CMS offers the simplest, most uncomplicated and most favorable variant for the customer. The handling is similarly simple as with the well-known website construction kit systems, although HD-CMS can score here by individual design and in parts even simpler maintenance and setup. The system is constantly being developed and most of the required functions (such as contact forms, news system, etc.) are either already available and only need to be activated. The system is not as flexible as a large open source CMS, which can be extended by masses of plugins, but also much easier to maintain and maintenance / software updates for the customer are completely eliminated by the central server infrastructure.
