Unfortunately, we only found this out very late!

Our retriever dog Zimi (8 years old) started refusing her food a year ago and we couldn't explain why. We tried all sorts of food, sought advice from the vet, but there was no improvement. Then by chance we became aware of Reico and after a very nice email contact with Mr. Rißmann-Wieland it was clear to us why our Zimi no longer liked her food. There were a lot of artificial ingredients in our food, nothing natural. No wonder we thought, we wouldn't eat that either.
When we switched to Reico, our little one started eating again with pleasure and had more zest for life. Thanks to the new food, we were able to adjust her weight so that she had fewer problems with her HD and osteoarthritis. You can't expect more when you've been feeding her worthless food for so long, which is enough to keep her alive but doesn't help maintain her lifelong health. Zimi is once again a happy, lively and fun-loving dog who brings us a lot of joy. In the meantime, I have done a lot of research into dog nutrition and have even considered BARF. However, Reico is the ideal solution for us, it smells good for us humans too, 100% good ingredients for dogs. Thanks to the Heimatglück variety, it's easy to take with you on vacation, it's easy to handle and the dog likes it. It's a pity that we came across Reico and Mr. Rißmann-Wieland so late, we would have always liked to offer our dog a healthy diet.

Our two Maltese dogs Cherie and Minchen play a very special role in our lives. Especially Cherie, who we fell in love with immediately when we first met her in Spain. However, she was sickly from the start and we took her to the vet very often, especially as visits to the vet are always very stressful for dogs.
We have been feeding her Reico dog food for about six months now and our dogs have been doing wonderfully ever since. Cherie in particular has been spared many a trip to the vet, which has also saved us a lot of vet costs. Minchen is a real bundle of joy and both dogs love to play. We are convinced of the species-appropriate feeding, especially the high meat content, as is the case with Reico.
We see the results every day and it makes us happy to see how well both our dogs are doing. Thank you also for the good advice and support from our consultant Mr. Rißmann-Wieland and we wish you continued success and hope that many other dogs will also get to know Reico.

Great customer service, quick response to questions! The website and products are very appealing. My dog has tolerated the products very well so far. A dear "dog neighbor" recommended Love Feed to me because of tick problems. We deliberately wanted to avoid chemical products and after about 3 months of use we have really noticed a clear improvement in tick infestation. I also think it's great that you can buy useful treats here. We are very pleased to have found Liebe Füttern and can recommend you with a clear conscience.

We came across a great brand that is also well tolerated by dogs with digestive problems and also attaches great importance to species-appropriate pet food. Our Jack loves the wet food from MaxidogVit as well as the dry food MaxiDog Olymp, his bowl is always empty.

We have been looking for a high-quality wet food for our dog Lilly for a long time because there was always something wrong with it. Either she often had diarrhea, never or rarely touched it, or it just didn't look appetizing to Lilly or to us. Since we started feeding MaxidogVit wet food and Heimatglück dog sausages from Reico, these complications are fortunately a thing of the past.
You can recognize the ingredients as soon as you open the can or dog sausage and it just smells really fresh and appetizing. It takes less than 5 minutes for our Lilly to finish her bowl. She has no problems with the varieties she has ordered and tolerates the food very well. Lilly is also much more alert and lively when we walk her and has more energy than before - you can really tell. Her slightly longer coat has also become super shiny and soft. Lilly feels completely at ease with her new food and that is a great relief for us after all the experiences we have had over the last few months.
It was also very important to us that the food is 100% German to strengthen our own economy and does not have long transportation routes.

We have been feeding Reico's wet dog and cat food for years. We always buy the 800 gram MaxidogVit tins for our dog at home. The Heimatglück dog sausages are ideal for our annual 3-6 week camper van trips. WHAT A GENIUS INVENTION 😃 On our first tour, we were excited about the first feeding and with a stare at the food bowl, our fur nose was not fussy at all. Great joy on our side. Cheers. 🥳

Until 3 years ago, my Bernese Mountain Dog Nana was fed dry food, which was recommended to me by a specialist retailer. Nana always struggled a lot with her skin and regularly had a hot spot, which was painstakingly treated by the vet with medication.
Nana also ate very badly and always left half of her food out. We almost had to force her to eat.
After switching to Reico MaxiDog Olymp 3 years ago, Nana's skin gradually improved and there was no longer any trace of a hot spot. You could also see how Nana lost her slight excess weight and her coat became shinier. There are now no more food scraps in her bowl.
It is fascinating to see how diseases can disappear through a healthy diet and how this can save veterinary costs.

We have a dog with allergies and therefore always have to be careful what we feed him.
The Reico food is very high quality and we know exactly what's in it.
As our dog doesn't always want to eat the same food, we came across Heimatglück and simply gave it a try.
And lo and behold, no allergy problems and the bowl was empty so quickly that we doubted whether we had filled it at all.
Conclusion: Our dog definitely recommends buying it. :)

My dog Lotte tolerated the changeover to Reico wet food very well thanks to her love of food.
I've tried so many things, but Reico wet food, especially MaxidogVit poultry and game, is her favorite.
Previously we had a lot of problems with diarrhea, but that is now history. The CuraDog carrot and apple soup is also great. She really likes the Hirsch-Knöpfle treats. I can only recommend the food to everyone.

In December 2022, we brought our dog Chuck from Bosnia to us from a shelter through an organization. He was about six months old at the time. Naturally, he was not well nourished, so we fed him food supplements on the advice of the vet. Unfortunately, he had a very sensitive stomach. However, this normalized after six months. Suddenly, from one day to the next, he hardly touched his food and lost a lot of weight again. Friends kept recommending Reico to us. At the time, however, it was too expensive for us as he needed at least 1 can a day due to his size.
We have now been a customer for over a year and are extremely satisfied. Chuck always looks forward to every meal and leaves nothing out. His weight remains constant. His coat is also very shiny. Fortunately, I came across Mr. Rißmann-Wieland on the Internet, who enlightened me with his very well-founded knowledge about REICO nutrition. Since we changed the food for our German Shepherd Samson to Reico, the following has happened:
First of all, he loves this food very much.
His digestion has become very good and manageable, above all he no longer produces XXL piles of excrement, as was the case with another brand of dry food. Before the change of food, he often had to deal with heartburn, which is no longer an issue. Various stomach rumblings have also completely disappeared. His coat is beautiful and shiny again. He has also lost weight, which is good for his joints and his overall health.
All in all, very positive. I am very happy that I am doing Samson something really good with this food.
