Training with Martin was a wonderful experience full of adventure. When I think back on the time we spent together (and I’m doing just that as I write this), so many great memories come to mind...

From the very beginning, Martin was very professional and clearly explained how he works and how we would strategically structure our training. At the same time, he’s extremely attentive and dedicated. So caring, in fact, that sometimes he already knew when a training session hadn’t gone well for some reason before I’d even told him about it.

I felt strong and well taken care of the entire time because I knew I was in good hands.

When it comes to sports, Martin also knows exactly what he’s doing. He takes individual characteristics, strengths, and challenges into account, while also knowing when and how to really push you. 

I started as a beginner and made incredible progress in all three disciplines of triathlon. I owe a great deal of that to Martin.

I can truly recommend his work to anyone—young or old—who loves sports, wants to improve, and wants to work with an outstanding coach.

I started with Martin at the beginning of 2024 and have now completed my second marathon with his help. All of his help has been worth its weight in gold and has really helped me to progress. Even in the event of changes or injuries, he was always on hand with help and advice and adapted the training plans accordingly. He was always available for me and I can't thank him enough.

I trained intensively with Martin for almost five months for the Berlin Marathon - and I can't imagine having a better coach at my side.

From the first week of training to after the marathon, he was with me every day and created a personalized training plan that perfectly matched my performance level, everyday life and goals.

Martin not only helped me progress physically, but also strengthened me mentally - which is particularly important on the way to a marathon. I could feel my progress every week and the training was always motivating, varied and professional, despite all the effort.

Martin has enormous technical expertise as a coach, coupled with his absolutely likeable, approachable and pleasant manner. He always makes you feel that you are being taken seriously, well looked after and individually supported.

Martin trained me from December 2024 to September 2025. The goal was to finish my first Ironman - which I achieved with my dream time of under 12 hours.

Right from the start, I found Martin to be very personable, appreciative, reliable and flexible. He tailored the training to my individual needs, always took my everyday life into consideration and motivated me without ever putting me under pressure. In the first few months of our work together, I had a long-term running injury that prevented me from training at times. Instead of pushing me or stressing me out, Martin reacted in an understanding, appreciative and very accommodating way during this time and adapted my training accordingly. Even when I had almost given up faith at times, Martin continued to believe in me and build me up. This support, his helpfulness and his warm manner helped me enormously.

The training itself was challenging but realistic and was always structured in a sensible way. Martin's modern and well-founded approach not only led to my Ironman success, but also to numerous best times in swimming, cycling and running - for example over the Olympic distance and the half marathon.

It was particularly valuable for me that Martin was honestly happy with me about my progress. He showed me what was possible and gave me a lot of self-confidence. The feeling that we are a team means a lot to me.

Conclusion:
With Martin, I not only had a competent coach at my side, but also a person who made my journey to the Ironman something special. It was fun, I made enormous progress - and I will never forget the good feeling of being supported, accompanied and appreciated.

I am very grateful to Martin for the successes we have celebrated together! With Martin as my running and triathlon coach, I managed to run the marathon in under 4 hours 🏃 and finish my first 70.3 Ironman in a great time of 6:10. I can recommend Martin to every ambitious athlete because of his motivating but also clear manner in combination with his overall concept of YouTube videos.

I started with Martin (Viqtri) in October 2024 as an absolute beginner in triathlon - the goal was the Ironman in Frankfurt. He adapted extremely well to my training situation and always adjusted the plan to my individual training progress. Even though I sometimes thought that the ever-increasing intensity was not yet in line with my progress, I was always proved wrong. This alone made me realize that Martin knows his trade and also thinks and expects a lot from his athletes. With Viqtri, you not only have an experienced coach who takes part in current competitions himself, but also a good advisor when it comes to nutrition outside and inside training and a contact person who has a good knowledge of mental strength beyond the physical. In addition, with Martin you have a very sympathetic coach at your side, who always pushes you to your limits and thus guarantees rapid progress :)

Everything was perfect from the first conversation to the evaluation after the target race. I always felt comfortable and was sure at all times that I could get the best out of myself with the coaching. On a personal level, everything was also very good. Martin prepared me for the 2023 and 2024 Munich Marathons. I wanted a coach because I don't have the time or experience to write training plans and wanted professional support. My plan was always online a few days before the start of the new week, he also checked my private or professional programs beforehand and took them into account. It worked really well and I only had to 😉 complete the training sessions. The plan was varied and challenging, I was able to surpass myself and had a real sense of achievement after many training sessions. He was also always on hand with advice, be it on nutrition, mental preparation, etc. All in all, it was a great 4 months and I am very grateful to him. Thanks to his support, I was able to keep developing and now my next goal is to run a long distance. Thank you very much 🤗🙏👏

Working with Martin was super pleasant and extremely professional. Thanks to his support, I was able to improve my time on the HM distance by a whopping five minutes this year and beat my goal for the year. I can absolutely recommend Martin. Great training and competition tips, including stretching and core training, round off the package.

I've already run a half marathon a few times. Finishing a marathon once in my life was my new goal. For me as a Berliner, the 50th Berlin Marathon was the perfect opportunity. But there was also a lot of respect, e.g. for personal failure or injury. That's why I decided to get professional help from Martin.
I was not disappointed. Martin creates an individual training plan for each week. If I didn't have time for training on certain days, Martin rearranged the plan very flexibly. He shifts the sessions, adapts them or even decides which training sessions to cancel if there is no other option.
The plan is based on data provided by my heart rate monitor and regular tests. This also included an official 10 km run and a half marathon. A particular highlight for me was that I finished the half marathon in under 2:00 h for the first time. Martin's pace suggestions worked perfectly without me feeling overwhelmed.
Martin responds to questions (including questions of purpose) with all his experience and expertise. He can always explain why something is being done, whether it's the ABC running program or the yoga sessions I don't necessarily love.
Big surprise for me: Martin was there on the day of the race himself and also supported me directly during the race with his assessment of the course and further strategy.
My conclusion: mission completed! I had a fantastic race, lots of new impressions and a lot of fun. Thank you Martin!

VIQTRI was the best company I could have imagined for preparing for the marathon. Super professional and at the same time very empathetic. I would never have reached my goal without Martin from VIQTRI.

I found Martin through internet research. After making an appointment at very short notice, I was able to have a first detailed telephone conversation with him. After the first few sentences, it was as if we had known each other from running for a long time. We still had four months to prepare for the Berlin Marathon and during this time he provided me with weekly training plans. In addition to running, his plan always included stability exercises and alternative sports. Martin was always very easy to reach. My questions about the
plan, race preparation, nutrition and mental training, he always answered them calmly, objectively and effectively. Above all, Martin is a good listener and doesn't just reel off a program. The plan is not set, Martin thinks about it and takes my
my impressions and adapted the plan from time to time. All the tips on how to organize the race worked. Martin finally convinced me to start slower and set 6:00/min. During the run itself, he surprised me because he suddenly stood next to the course three times, even ran a section with me and even made me laugh.

I came across Martin by chance when I was searching for a trainer on Google and read his many positive reviews. I thought I'd give it a try - and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. After about nine months of training with him, I improved my marathon time from 5:48 to an incredible 3:59! Martin focuses on my individual goals, motivates me and always manages to push me to my limits and beyond. I look forward to continuing to train with him and improving my performance. I had been looking for coaching because, as an inexperienced beginner runner, I had signed up for a half marathon at relatively short notice (six weeks beforehand). The race had not only stressed me physically at the beginning, but also mentally. Martin adapted the training plan to my individual needs at all times and supported me not only physically but also mentally during the entire training period, giving me a great deal of confidence. Thanks to the coaching, I didn't have to worry about planning or anything else and was able to concentrate on my runs. I can recommend it to anyone!
