Hello dear readers,
already in school I heard that Kurt, Freiherr von Hammerstein-Equord, classified the characteristics of officers. Stupid and lazy, smart and hard-working, etc. That's pretty well known. However, he also meant that for unpleasant and difficult routine tasks (for a few experts this is routine), one should calmly fall back on a few clever people. They can do it better and you have your head free for other priorities.
Concretely:
The condo had to be sold, because we (my wife and I) wanted to move to the far north. The distance was huge. So we couldn't always drive all over Germany for every appointment. I didn't know exactly what to consider and had no experience in these matters. A broker had to be found. Since I had enough lead time, I obtained, of course after intensive Internet study, comparative offers from three candidates.
The winner was clearly Mr. Fechner.
Examples were given, details were addressed (which I would never have thought of) and our wishes and ideas were optimally implemented. I immediately had the feeling that he knew how to do it. He is not the first in the family to deal with something like this.
In contrast to others, the offer has cost NOTHING, my date proposals were kept cleanly (which is obviously not self-evident) and the forecasts were later quite good. And Mr. Fechner was very sympathetic, did not put us under any pressure or put us in uncomfortable situations. In short, even purely in terms of character, Mr. Fechner appeared to us to be impeccable. By my high standards, this is not automatically the case. In the case of one candidate, for example, the character did not quite meet our expectations.
And last but not least: On balance, the offer was clearly the best for us! Looking at the facts realistically, I would never have managed it so well, stress-free and quickly.
So how did the sale by Mr. Fechner benefit us?
1) Sure. The money is in the account.
2) Unproblematic and stress-free.
3) Reliable, predictable time frame.
4) Best offer!
Conclusion:
A Swiss philosopher (Richard Ginnow) once said, mutatis mutandis:
"Successful is the one who knows the right person at the right time in the right place".
We were successful.
