​Sometimes you make decisions that change your whole life—and my eye surgery in Istanbul is definitely one of them. Even my very first conversation with Mr. Matthias Weber didn’t feel like a typical sales pitch, but rather like an honest, empathetic consultation on equal terms. He was completely attentive to my wishes and needs, selected the procedure that was perfect for me, and was immediately available to answer every single question I had. Even before my flight, I had that reassuring feeling: I’m in the best hands.
​Once I arrived in Istanbul, everything went like clockwork. The directions were crystal clear, and the transfer to the hotel was as professional as ever. But the real highlight was our local guide: Adem Erdinc Ergürsel. An incredibly likable person who stood by our side around the clock with heart and soul. Whether at the hotel or right at the clinic—Adem was always by our side and gave us an incredible sense of security from the very first moment.
​At the Veni Vidi Göz Clinic, we were given an extremely warm welcome by the entire team. After only a very short wait, the preliminary examinations began; they were conducted in an extremely pleasant and thorough manner. The subsequent consultation with Dr. Akın Akyurt completely solidified my full trust in him: An absolutely competent, calm, and empathetic doctor who explained all the results in a way I could understand and went over every step of the upcoming surgery with me in detail.
​When the time for the surgery came, all my nervousness had vanished. I felt safe, well cared for, and understood at every moment. The combination of state-of-the-art medicine and human warmth throughout the entire team at the Veni Vidi Göz Eye Clinic was simply one-of-a-kind.

Everything went great! Our account manager, Adem Erdinc Ergürsel, answered all our questions, was always available, and was very friendly. At the clinic, we were looked after by Dorothea, who was also very kind. Even during the preliminary examination, I arrived completely exhausted because I was so nervous, and the team took care of me with great patience and compassion. Dorothea was also there during the laser surgery and talked to me to calm me down. I’m very grateful to her for that.
