Klavier lernen mit Melanie

This makes learning and understanding the piano really fun!!
The course is very well structured, with easy-to-understand explanations and appropriate exercises in the workbook.
Melanie’s video guidance is always encouraging and friendly.

Good purchase—the method for learning chords is brilliant and easy to remember, and the workbook is a very helpful supplement.

I liked the “Chords and Pop Improvisation” course because it starts with the basics (even though it sometimes seemed a bit too detailed to me). It forces me to be patient and really internalize the chords and inversions (I’m still working on that). Your “tricks” are extremely helpful, like placing the 1st or 2nd inversion over your finger. I’d like to see more examples of simple improvisations, and I’m not sure if that’s actually covered in Part II of the course. Otherwise, I’m satisfied with my purchase. That said, the course is certainly best suited for beginners on the piano.

I’ve become AWARE of so many things during your lessons and realized that even the most difficult chords aren’t that hard at all once you UNDERSTAND what you’re doing.
And you convey that in an impressive way … at breakneck speed, so to speak (as far as my own progress is concerned).
Simply top-notch.

A great approach how to learn finally the major and minor accords.
Although, I already played many classical beginner pieces, I never mastered the inversions of the accords.
I am so greatful for this course.🙏🏽

The course is structured very systematically. For me, it's a wonderful and valuable addition to—or extension of—playing classical pieces from sheet music.

A well-thought-out structure, clear explanations, and lots of practical tips—the content is top-notch. Plus, a very personable, authentic teacher who comes across as incredibly knowledgeable and makes you want to practice every day.

I’ve learned a lot for free from Melanie on her YouTube channel over a long period of time. I think she’s so great that I’ve now purchased one of her courses and have already learned a lot from it as well. As for practicing—well, unfortunately, she can’t do that for me. 😇I’m sticking with it. She explains things very clearly, and I think she’s very hardworking. That’s my impression.❤️

Well-structured, step by step, no getting sidetracked—ideal for me as a beginner.

Presented in a way that’s easy to understand and fun, with wonderful mnemonic devices… Melanie has a gift for explaining things in a way that makes them very easy to remember, which then motivates you to practice with real joy and enthusiasm and make it your own…I’m definitely thrilled... Thank you, Melanie—I’m so grateful I found you, because I’ve bought a lot of courses before, but I’ve never made this much progress so quickly—and also because learning with you is just fun and enjoyable, and it brings me real joy....And ultimately, that’s exactly what it’s all about—learning with enthusiasm and joy....and you definitely make that happen....THANK YOU, you’re an awesome teacher with heart and authenticity.

I love the images Melanie helps me visualize in my mind. And yes, you really do have to learn on your own to make progress! I'm glad I started with Course 1!!

I especially like the motivating way Melanie guides me through my practice and playing. Her approach aligns perfectly with my own attitude toward music.

The course is structured in an extremely professional way. So far, I’ve completed Modules 1 and 2, and I’m reinforcing what I’ve learned through daily practice. Melanie’s presentation of the material is completely clear and very entertaining. It’s a real pleasure to follow the lessons and participate. Her approach and the engaging way she presents the course material keep me highly motivated and eager to learn.

I'm very happy with the course. But the book with the sheet music alone would have been enough for me. It would be great if you could buy the sheet music books separately.

An excellent course for beginners to teach themselves to play the piano step by step—and, above all, presented in a way that’s ideal for learning. From the highly professional production of the videos (illuminated keys, lighting, sound) to the very charming piano teacher Melanie and her invaluable learning tips. I’ve already purchased several other courses of this kind, but Melanie’s has been the best so far! I highly recommend it!

I just wanted to share some feedback on "Pop Improvisation Part 1." I’m a complete beginner when it comes to the piano, and at the “advanced” age of almost 60. I grew up with no exposure to music—none of my relatives play an instrument, I can’t sing myself, I can’t read sheet music, and I can’t even dance. So, not exactly ideal starting conditions. My goal isn’t to become a pianist. I just want to be able to strum around on a piano, and I want it to sound like music. After several months of self-study on YouTube—where you end up wasting most of your time watching videos and, as a result, practicing very little, especially not the things that matter—I signed up for Melanie’s course. And I have to say, Pop Impro 1 is an absolute home run for people who want to create beautiful music on the piano without sheet music. This isn’t about painstakingly memorizing 1, 2, or 3 songs on the piano; instead, you’ll learn the skills to play countless songs by mastering the real fundamentals that you’ll use over and over again. The whole thing is sensibly structured and explained very clearly. That said, this course naturally also requires personal dedication. Getting chords and their inversions into your head and under your fingers takes hard work and time, but this course is an extremely effective way to reach that goal relatively quickly. If you stick with it, you’ll have the most important fundamentals for playing the piano freely in your head and in your fingers. And learning and playing new songs suddenly becomes so easy, because you already know everything you need....

Thanks to this course, I feel like I’m finally starting to understand how to play the piano—and especially how chords are structured. This makes playing much more fun for me, and learning is much easier. I hope that someday I’ll really be able to play my favorite songs without having to struggle through sheet music anymore. Melanie’s mnemonics for learning chords are very helpful, and the course is structured really well from a teaching perspective. The lessons are short and effective. There’s plenty of material for practice. I’m currently on Module Three and am excited to see how it continues.

The course is very well structured. The individual modules are just the right length, so practicing is always fun and you can really feel yourself making progress. I also really like the mnemonic devices—they make learning easier for me personally. The course always feels a bit like having a piano teacher sitting right next to you.

I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie and her YouTube channel, “Learn Piano with Melanie.” I’ve already purchased several of her courses and use them regularly. The courses are excellently structured, easy to follow, and a lot of fun.

I especially like how Melanie explains the material step by step. This makes even more challenging topics easy to follow and motivates me to keep practicing. The lessons are clearly organized, practical, and very well suited for both beginners and advanced learners.

Thanks to her friendly manner and professional teaching style, I’ve already made a lot of progress on the piano. You can really tell how much experience, dedication, and passion she puts into her courses.

Thank you so much, dear Melanie, for your wonderful support on my musical journey. I’m already looking forward to more courses and can wholeheartedly recommend “Learn Piano with Melanie.”
