Great software with many possibilities. Support is hard to reach by phone and always a bit gruff by phone and email. Wise integration is missing - supposedly because of Wise, although other tools can.

If I could give zero stars, then I would! Cancellation simply Ignored, then still debt collection switched on and finally still my access blocked!!!! An expensive school for me nothing more online contracts.

We wanted to implement the program in our business, but are very very dissatisfied.
When we need help over the phone, the consultants don't even know what is meant by booking accounts and refer us to the Sparkasse account stored in the system, which is ridiculous.
Own booking accounts can not be created and are also not taken over by the system.
Callbacks from the self-proclaimed specialist department are not implemented and you can thus gladly collect overtime waiting for the ladies and gentlemen.
The staff behind the phone is definitely too incompetent, lacking any personal experience and knowledge about this platform.

So we have now completely switched to Datev and are satisfied.

Dear Sir or Madam, I feel screwed by your company to say the least. Last year I got an announcement about the increase in costs by 40%. I objected to this, with the argument that sevDesk advertised outside with a discount of 40% today even with 50% for new customers. After several phone calls I was promised that I would get a new contract. In the meantime, I have already received several reminders and that although it was confirmed to me that my objection was being processed. In the end, they offered me a new contract, which I agreed to because I assumed that I would receive the same services as in the old contract. Fiddlesticks, they offered me a new, worse contract. Unfortunately, I only noticed it late. They don't even respond to my e-mails about this. Are they really serious about how they treat us long-term customers? I expect them to contact me and give me the same services as in the old contract.

I strongly advise against sevDesk. My account has been suspended without notice and naming of reasons. No one has contacted me about this. After inquiry on my part, I was informed that I am in default of payment of the last subscription invoice. However, sevDesk never sent me an invoice for the outstanding amount. Also no payment reminder, reminder or the like. The clarification of the matter turned out to be lengthy and highly unprofessional. The communication of the support team is subterranean. I could not access my accounting data for 9 days. A basis of trust is not guaranteed when dealing with customers in this way. For such a sensitive business area as accounting, this is of course a no-go.

The support is very poor.
Dealing with bugs is appalling.
Privacy issues are just swept under the rug.
Bugs are not fixed.
It seems like they don't want to develop the system any further.
Definitely not a recommendation due to serious security flaws. Finder away!

The support is a total disaster. The system is full of bugs and no one is there to help.
Suggestions for improvement are ignored. Unfortunately, there is no will to develop further. A lot of potential is just thrown away...

I would definitely not choose SevDesk again.
There are providers that are much more customer-oriented and take care of their customers with more dedication.
If there is a problem in the office, you sit in front of it for hours before you can even come up with a solution and waste time unnecessarily.

I need to earn money outside and not wait in the office for an unfriendly help attempt by the support.

tl;dr: Could I recommend switching to sevDesk? Absolutely not! Because as a partner for ("preparing") accounting, I expect reliability. I would even be willing to pay double per month if there was this reliability in return.

Instead, as a customer, I am afraid that the store may implode without notice without me making the jump to another provider in time.

Onboarding is something sevDesk handles really well. In retrospect, it felt like you were welcomed with a kiss of the hand until you signed up for the 2-year subscription.

And everything you need at first - document entry, invoicing, customer management, time tracking, makes a good impression! However, you should by no means rely on this impression, because behind the scenes things are bubbling and it is the details that make parts of sevDesk useless.

In an exchange with other sevDesk customers - in a non-public forum, the diagnosis is devastating: Users report numerous unfulfilled promises:
- Poor GoBD conformity
- Always the same tactic: Stalling of customer requests, which are then silently classified as "not feasible" or sometimes remain "in review" for years
- Public announcements such as Accounting 2.0, which were not implemented even after about 3 years of delay

I could continue this list endlessly.

As a web developer, I have great understanding when something doesn't go according to plan, you miscalculate, etc. All of this can be handled in an open and professional manner. But even when asked what we as customers can do to help sevDesk get its act together, it gets silence.

The crowning glory: instead, I am asked by sevDesk's UX team to do an interview about what the "Wow"moment is at sevDesk and what they do particularly well. In retrospect, I found that downright ignorant.

My customers expect professionalism and reliability, clarity and honesty from me. I also want to select my partners and service providers according to this. SevDesk is no longer an option.

The calls are a bit much, at least when the employee speaks very bad German and then wants to inquire about complex things here is still some fine tuning necessary.

SevDesk could certainly be better for the future if they cooperate with a bank and could also offer suitable accounts for small businesses (Kontist and finom are very far ahead here but can not yet prevail in accounting (invoicing) but the market is not asleep.

The switch from a competitor's accounting program to sevDesk involved a lot of work. However, I am very happy to have taken this step, because in the long run I benefit from a better price-performance ratio, more functions that are relevant for me and more customizability (e.g. contacts by type, product categories, own booking accounts).
