Initial situation: I received an offer from an insurance broker for occupational disability insurance. As I don't know much about this area, I couldn't assess how good or bad the offer was. During my research, I ended up on the Finanzfluss website at Versicherung im Kopf. They offer free online advice on occupational disability insurance, which I signed up for. Shortly afterwards, Dominik Englert from VMK Versicherungsmakler GmbH contacted me and sent me an appointment for a video call.
He held a full insurance discussion with me and explained all the important information in this area. I was able to compare the quality of the existing insurance consultation with the first insurance broker. During the meeting, I told Dominik about my first offer and he suggested that he would obtain alternative offers for me in order to compare them. And without any restrictions on how the offers would perform compared to my original offer. After another video call, during which my personal information for obtaining the quote was discussed, we finally had a third conversation in which we compared all the quotes together. It turned out that my first offer from the other marker was the most attractive. I was very impressed by the fact that Dominik did not try to persuade me to accept an offer (which might have provoked him), but explained to me in detail why the "other" offer was the best for me. Because of this honesty, I can only highly recommend the free (!) consultation to anyone, even if it is about being able to better classify an existing offer.
