When the vehicle was handed over, the Lexus Connected Services were set up together with the Lexus Link+ app so that all services could be used immediately. An employee was immediately available to clarify any technical queries after the first test drive and was able to answer all questions.
The following information should be taken into account for future handovers:
- The navigation system was set to miles instead of kilometers. The change was subsequently made by an employee.
- The driver identification was only set up via the smartphone, the keys were added later by the customer.
One more comment on the vehicle itself. In addition to many useful functions and assistants, some things are exaggerated from a personal, subjective point of view. One example of this is the "front passenger and
rear seat reminder function". Under certain conditions, it leads to wild flashing and an acoustic signal when the vehicle is locked, causing the driver to feel unsettled.
In a later software update, it should be possible to switch off the annoying beeping as easily as possible when the speed limit is exceeded (without having to call up a submenu with several clicks).
