Nobody could be reached repeatedly by telephone.

The promised deadline of 3 working days was not met and I only received an answer when I asked.
Certain sections are duplicated and there is a confusion with the pronouns she and he.
I forwarded the evaluation to my former employer with the request to adjust my work certificate and all suggestions were rejected.
The reference help didn't help me personally at all.

It showed me how the AZ is assessed by an independent body. That was very interesting.
The envelopes were a bit too aggressive for my taste. I'm currently still in phase 1, so we'll see how things develop.

The entire package that you receive is helpful and easy to understand. I would use it again at any time if required and could also recommend it to others.

Overall, we had a good experience with this service and have largely adopted the certificate. However, some of the wording was too typically German for Switzerland. And certain formulations were also too "over the top" (always only the best of the best etc.) and bordered on credibility, which is why we changed them to more personal and realistic words. Overall, however, we found the service very helpful and it saved us a lot of time.

Testimonial assessment is okay, but the service is a disaster.
The service package is only based on an upgrade. In order to fully benefit from one package, you have to book an upgrade beforehand, which is of course much more expensive.
They no longer respond to my inquiries at all.

Even though the task was somewhat different, namely to issue a completely new reference, I was very satisfied.
There were certainly one or two corrections and changes to be made to the content, which is not surprising as the people who are to issue the reference and who are to be assessed do not know each other. In this respect, it was even a little too overloaded. Well-intentioned, but no one person combines so many attributes. It quickly becomes implausible. Nevertheless, I liked a lot of the wording. Nicely written. I was able to work well with it.

Not all the services I booked, such as a consultation or similar, were provided. Instead, an impersonal serial email where they patted themselves on the back and quickly marked the process as "completed" and then ignored my attempts to contact them.

I had the impression that the staff at Beyond Talent GmbH did a very good job. In view of the fact that the actual, individual writing effort for the assessment of the content comprises a whole four A4 pages and you can see that every text passage was analyzed in detail, I think the price is justified. It did involve a certain amount of work. Especially in my case, because I had requested the express assessment.

My e-mail enquiry as to whether departmental management (i.e. team management tasks without personnel responsibility) should also be mentioned in a separate section ("Management performance") was answered somewhat curtly, in my opinion, by saying that they would need to know my employment relationship in more detail in order to be able to respond to the question. I would have expected a little more in the way of "if the employment contract contains such and such characteristics, then the "leadership performance" should be mentioned in the reference, otherwise it is not usual". In my specific case, there is no mention of team leadership in the employment contract, but it is mentioned in the job description in the personnel file. However, I didn't want to have to ask you a dozen more times, as I was of the opinion that the service for which I had paid plus-minus ended with the issuing of the written assessment and that the offer did not include various further questions.

Since job references contain personal data worthy of protection, as a customer I would like to know at a glance (i.e. not in terms and conditions or similar) what happens to the uploaded reference documents after the final completion of the assessment, i.e. whether they are deleted or whether they remain with Beyond Talent GmbH (for how long?), and how well this data is protected against unauthorized access.

The job reference help helped me to get a decent and more detailed reference.
I would have liked to have received not only the formulation for very good, but also the formulation for good. That way, I would have been able to assess the wording that had been changed and toned down by the employer when evaluating the new reference.
All in all, however, I am very satisfied with the service and the result achieved.

Writing and reading job references is an art in itself. Objective interpretation is therefore almost impossible for the layperson. All the better if professionals can provide valuable input on your own reference.
