As the founder and owner of Alcube GmbH, I have developed the company into one of the top 4% of German companies with a turnover of € 10 million and 10 employees.
The focus of the business is the sale of children's beds in e-commerce, for example on Amazon.de and Otto.de. Alcube GmbH is the supplier of the best-selling home bed on the German market, the "Heim.
Despite what I consider to be good processes in accounting and controlling, 4 errors occurred in parallel, which led to an incorrect assessment of business development.
As a result, investments were made which, in retrospect, should not have been made.
As a result, alcube GmbH became insolvent.
In cooperation with Mr. Franzke, a restructuring concept was developed within 2 weeks:
- Developed a restructuring concept to avoid insolvency
- Causes and solutions for this were worked out
- Corporate strategy examined in essence
- Applied for the restructuring procedure
- Procedures developed to appropriately structure personal liability as managing partner
Within 3 months, the restructuring process was successfully completed and the causes resolved, giving the company an unexpected second chance at a long-term perspective.
