At first, I tried to sell our two-family house—which was in need of renovation—on my own using a structured approach, and I encountered difficulties in reaching out to, identifying, and
convincingly communicating with solvent buyers. Mr. Buchbauer from SIS took a dedicated and professional approach; he was able to reach many more genuinely interested buyers and is highly skilled at clarifying, as far as possible in a verifiable manner, the issues that are individually important to each prospective buyer—for example, by consulting with the building department. He was even able to secure a binding renovation quote, thereby significantly reducing the uncertainties prospective buyers face when purchasing an older property. Defects were addressed openly. He was always approachable, quick and reliable in following through on what we discussed, and very friendly. Of course, the support from the Sparkasse organization was also helpful—for example, through their knowledge of trusted renovation companies and access to all major real estate platforms. Overall, in Mr. Buchbauer, I had the perfect real estate agent, who put a great deal of dedicated, professional effort into selling my semi-detached house, which was not an easy property to sell. In less than a year, he found a buyer—honestly and at a price that was fair to both sides. For me, the real estate agent’s commission was more than worth it, thanks to the enormous time savings, the peace of mind, and the good sales price achieved so quickly.
