Unfortunately, I have to revise my once 5-star rating from April 2024. Our sofa was delivered in a catastrophic condition! It was an exhibition piece (Himolla) that was in very good condition. We drove all the way from Stuttgart to Münster to have a look at it on site. We only received it 6 weeks later, although we were promised a delivery time of 2 weeks. Then the two men from the shipping company that Uni-Polster works with (Reber from Germersheim) were unable to bring the sofa to our apartment because it was too heavy for them. So a few weeks later, only 2 men came again! men again, although it was agreed that there had to be at least 3 to bring the sofa up. This was only possible with the help of my friend and a colleague, both of whom had to take a break from their jobs to drive over! I've never experienced anything like it!
The sofa has 7!!! The sofa has abrasions, soiling and tears in the fabric in 7!!! places, mostly on the edges and sides, due to improper handling during transportation from A to B. The foil was torn in some places! Some of the cover caps on the metal feet were smashed, others were completely missing. So much for the condition! Uni-Polster has still not been able to remedy the defects, although they have been asked several times by email and telephone. Constantly just delaying tactics, everything was passed on to the relevant departments, they said. Nobody cared! We had no choice but to call in a lawyer. The matter is far from over. But one thing I can say with absolute certainty: I would never buy anything from Uni-Polster again, I cannot recommend Uni-Polster under any circumstances!!!
