Eddie Singleton started Tub Doctor in 1982 with his wife and two small children. He was working for a plumbing supply outfit and began doing repair work on the damaged tubs coming into the warehouse. A business was born in his imagination. From the chip repairs he added tub reglazing, tub replacements, and complete bathroom remodeling.
