Now, by answering the above questions, I have already said just about everything. Nevertheless, I would like to add a few personal experiences. And so that this doesn't seem too euphoric (which I am in truth), I will try to remain objective. I will be 70 this year, so I am in so-called retirement. Up to now I have believed that at my age there are such and such ailments that cannot be changed, or if they can, then only with agonizing, sweaty exercises in the gym, or with medications with worrying package inserts. I was never active in sports (which I probably should have been), but always full of ideas and full of energy. That changed with my retirement and even more with the pandemic. After I had been feeling pretty bad for five weeks in September last year, I remembered that I had met Anja a long time ago on the occasion of a photo shoot. Called, trial date booked, starter package booked, annual subscription booked! Since mid-October 2022, I now go almost daily to the cold chamber. Before, I could not walk 500m without having to rest in between (double herniated disc), I failed even at the slightest slope, always pain. That has changed dramatically! No more pain when walking normally, walks of three or four kilometers, even with occasional inclines, are no longer a problem. This, to me actually unknown condition of flabbiness and lack of energy has disappeared. Even things that I don't like to do (cleaning the apartment, for example) I can now do, not exactly with unbridled joy, but with a certain serenity. There are still many little things that have improved, and I can't list them all here (varicose veins are gone, really!). Have the feeling that I'm already way too long anyway. And by the way, I wouldn't have had the slightest desire to write this a quarter of a year ago. It would have seemed like a Sisyphean task. My quality of life has improved enormously in all areas! Last, but not least, the team of caregivers. The atmosphere there balances with apparent ease exactly on the fine line between personal friendliness and professional competence. My compliments, ladies, and many thanks! See you tomorrow.
