In March 2023, I bought a used Opel Insignia B (BJ 2018) at Autohaus Lars Thormann in Stendal.
The first impression of the car, as well as the seller were very good. Also the test drive was top and the car stood well.
One day later I decided to buy the car.
Inspection, TÜV and a desired by me Nanoversieglung (fee) were then still done.
After just under a month I could pick it up.
Contrary to my anticipation, I was then unfortunately first quite disappointed.
Heavy paint chips on the trunk, dent on the roof, front grille not installed correctly.
Things that were neither apparent nor present, nor documented at the time of inspection.
I had to accept that for the time being, because the sales management was not in the house.
The option was to cancel the purchase or wait for consultation.
Since I have accepted a journey of 400km for the purchase, the further clarification has then proved rather difficult, since I was not promised a defect removal by a local workshop.
After much back and forth, I then agreed to take a third and fourth time 800km on me, whereupon the damage was then at least subsequently removed again.
Were then 3200km, which I have taken on me for the purchase.
After I have the car now just 4 months, the charge air hose travels. (Repair 414,00€)
Neither warranty, nor warranty, let alone goodwill.
All this would not come into consideration according to the management.
So customer orientation doesn't seem to exist in this house.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Autohaus Lars Thormann to anyone who values professionalism and customer orientation.
The one star is for the despite all beautiful Insignia and the nice salesmen.
