My German shepherd mix dog Joy had a big problem: other dogs. Joy not only had a strong leash aggression, but also has the same problem in the free run: Other dogs are barked at and "put". Not only embarrassing for me as a dog owner, but also exhausting, sad and frustrating. Joy and I have already been to several dog trainers - unfortunately nothing has helped us. At our first meeting, Mrs. Krötz also organized several dogs, which were led past Joy, so that Mrs. Krötz could get to know Joy's behavior and analyze it. Thereupon Mrs. Krötz introduced me to clicker training. A method which was exactly suitable for us. With small steps and the support of Mrs. Krötz, I learned to positively reinforce Joy in certain situations by clicking. Since then we have already achieved a huge success: Joy played with another dog! For me, this borders on a true miracle - I never expected my dog to be able to play with other dogs. I would have been satisfied already with passing others without stress. From there: Expectations exceeded within a very short time. Joy is on her way to becoming a completely new and free dog. Because I am now sure that she is not an aggressive dog, but only insecure, I can deal with it in a completely different way. With advice & help from Mrs. Krötz we have already become a much better team. I am excited to see what the next months and years have in store for us. Mrs. Krötz, thank you very much for your patience, your fairness (both towards humans and dogs), your ability to analyze and your love for dogs. You have enriched our lives!
Many greetings
Silke & Joy
