The consultation was very good, a nurse was found surprisingly quickly who was very professional and pleasant to deal with, helpful because she was attentive to the needs of the person being cared for. She spoke Polish like the person being cared for, which was the intention, unfortunately only a little German (the wife of the person being cared for unfortunately only spoke a little Polish, only German, French, English and Spanish). However, the caregiver also spoke Italian, which the wife mostly understood due to her knowledge of French, which is also a Romance language with similarities. Fortunately, the nurse was able to translate for the wife via her cell phone, which was usually successful, but of course took a little time.
All in all, the carer was a lovely person who always tried to do her job well.
As the husband being cared for suffers from dementia, it was sometimes difficult for the carer, and the husband is particularly fixated on his wife, which was sometimes a hindrance. However, this is because the wife has always spent most of her time at home alone with her husband for the past 3 years.
Conclusion: The caregiver did her best, she was professional in every respect, but the caring human touch was never neglected, I can only recommend this Polish caregiver, as a wife I got on very well with her. We said goodbye to each other very warmly.
