I'm happy to share my years of experience with you and help you develop into the musician you want to be. For this purpose I give regular private lessons for children, teenagers and adults in Essen and Herne/NRW. Besides a good and above all healthy technique, the main priorities of the lessons are, among other things, the development of a broad stylistic variety, a good sound and the development of confidence in your own musicality.
I take special care that the student can immediately apply what he/she has learned in a musical context on the drums. This practice-oriented teaching ensures quick learning success and motivates in the long term.

At first I thought that in my mid-50s I might be too old to learn this wonderful instrument. In the meantime I know that my concerns were unfounded. Jo designs the lessons very flexible to suit personal goals. I am a newcomer, in the beginning we did techniques and theory.... Important!!! In the meantime I play songs according to sheet music and jo helps me with good advice. Also personally he is top, takes his time and is very patient.
