In his presentation, “How Generative AI Is Driving Companies to Take Action Now,” delivered at VENDOeVent26 at the SAP Garden in Munich, Prof. Dr. Christian Stummeyer impressively demonstrated the enormous opportunities that the use of artificial intelligence presents for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Among other things, the audience was captivated by how vividly and engagingly he traced the developments of recent years: from the IQ of various models past and present, to intelligent AI agents, to Vibe Coding, which allows applications to be developed using only natural language. His examples and demonstrations provided genuine “aha” moments.

Equally valuable was his perspective on business practice and his advice not to implement AI for its own sake, but rather to identify specific challenges and customer needs, develop suitable use cases, and continually evaluate their benefits. Start small, gain experience, and then systematically scale up successful solutions—a message that is as pragmatic as it is compelling. His three-part framework of AI vision, AI strategy, and AI roadmap provided participants with clear guidance.

We were particularly pleased that Prof. Stummeyer stayed until the very end of our evening event and took plenty of time for one-on-one conversations. He is an outstanding speaker who combines technological expertise with a practical approach and genuine enthusiasm for his subject.
