Roger manages to convey a complex topic to the audience with ease and a touch of humor. At the same time, he leaves a lasting impression as a professional and knowledgeable speaker who certainly has much more to say on the subject. It’s also great that he was able to address different industries and answer spontaneous questions.

Fascinating insights—presented with great rhetorical skill

The speaker impressed with his extensive expertise on the topic of AI. His presentation was professional, and he did a great job of engaging the participants—a truly experienced speaker. The keynote presentation was excellent, as was the group work.
The briefing, on the other hand, was somewhat less clear and felt a bit like a “black box.” The in-depth exploration of “How AI is changing the insurance world,” which we had explicitly requested, was only touched upon briefly (1–2 slides) in the keynote presentation. This objective was not met. We would have liked to see more here.
In addition, the announced group work was implemented differently at the last minute than discussed. It wasn’t a big deal, but it was a bit confusing since we weren’t informed. I assume that Roger no longer remembered that he wanted to write a prompt with the participants—all participants had explicitly brought their laptops for that purpose.
Overall, however, the keynote presentation and subsequent group work were still engaging—they provided a good introduction to the topic and a smooth transition into the afternoon.

His comparisons between abstract digital concepts and everyday situations that everyone can relate to are simply brilliant. He engages even a demanding audience and manages to bring everyone along with him through his strong practical focus and targeted involvement, regardless of individual knowledge levels. He conveys complex AI topics in a way that is understandable, practical, and full of energy. You immediately sense that he is not only deeply knowledgeable about the subject but also genuinely enthusiastic about it.

What I particularly liked was the combination of inspiration and concrete added value. In addition to exciting insights into current developments, there were many practical tips that can be applied directly in both professional and even personal life.

It’s also worth noting that he takes plenty of time for questions and actively encourages discussion.

Another plus: He not only highlights the opportunities of AI but also critically examines the risks and societal impacts. I found his perspective particularly fascinating: that by using AI, we might observe a kind of “divide.” While people who consciously use AI as a tool gain time and can focus their energy more effectively (“free up your energy”), there is simultaneously a risk that fundamental skills and knowledge will decline if AI is used without careful consideration.

An example from his keynote was also very striking in this context: He pointed out that tools like ChatGPT are often used for very human questions—such as relationship issues or interpreting messages (“What do you think he means by that?”). This framing as a mirror of our needs and our society makes his content particularly tangible and relevant.

Overall, it was an absolutely enriching experience, both professionally and personally.

Roger conveys his in-depth knowledge in a clear and accessible way, tailoring his approach to his audience’s needs, which proves extremely helpful for those interested in applying this knowledge in practice. Thank you very much for the excellent expert advice and the well-presented content.
